From 13 October 2021, only fully vaccinated visitors can enter in groups of 2. You will have to show proof of vaccination status, a recent negative COVID-19 test result, and/or any recovery documentation before entry.

Over 300,000 people visit the San Sebastián Aquarium every year, making it one of San Sebastián's most visited spots. 

The aquarium sits on the harbor right next to Old Town and occupies an iconic building dating from 1928.

There are two floors here dedicated to the maritime and marine heritage of Gipuzkoa.

Explore the 31 Cantabrian-Atlantic Sea and tropical-themed aquariums here, the biggest highlights of the aquarium.

Among these, the Oceanarium is the most famous; it has a 360º tunnel, with more than 1.5 million liters of water and more than 40 species of fish.

These include Atlantic and Cantabrian species and the two sand tiger sharks.

Don't miss out on seeing the skeleton of a northern right whale, apart from the many tanks dedicated to the Bay of Biscay, where you can see more than 200 species of marine life.

Infants aged 0-3 can enter for free. Children aged 4-12, students, unemployed people, people receiving pensions, and people with disabilities enjoy reduced ticket pricing (carry a valid photo ID).
